The Designer 22 Infant Car Seat has the basics and much
more. It's rear-facing for infants 5- 22 pounds with a 5-point harness that
adjusts from the back for easier access. The convenient base adjusts to 3
positions for better recline in vehicles with more sloped seats. Car seat
releases quickly and easily from base with a squeeze-release at the top of the
base. It also installs without the base; the no-thread belt path allows easier
vehicle installation. And new LATCH attachments mean it can be installed in
vehicles meeting the 9-1-02 FMVSS 225 standard requiring car seat installation
without the use of the vehicle belts. Comfort-carry handle has a soft foam
overgrip. Multi-position canopy can be removed for washing. So can the deluxe
infant insert with head and hip roll to help baby sit more comfortably. Meets
FMVSS 213; approved for aircraft use. In fashionable Blanchard print.
Coordinates with The Blanchard 3-in-1 Elite Car Seat, and The Blanchard High
Back Booster Seat, The Blanchard Lightweight Stroller, and The Blanchard Tandem
Stroller.

Eddir Bauer
Designer 22 Infant Car Seat, August 20, 2005
This product has good eye appeal and very easy assembly of the hood. I find
that the Eddie Bauer products have the most cushion for baby.

Great Baby Gift , August
9, 2005
I bought this car seat for my sister's new baby. We did a lot of looking and
comparing both on-line and in the store. The product had everything she was
looking for: great handle, and you can take the carrier out of the seat w/out
taking the entire unit out of the car. It was a great price compared to other
carrier's that lacked many must haves and its Eddie Bauer!

disappointed with seat latch,
July 27, 2005
I purchased this carrier with the double stroller as a matching set. It looks
nice, the pattern is fine although I do not like design of the sunshade.
But.... the latch button (red) where you "click" in the straps over your infant,
is impossible to press in to unlatch. It also has a plastic puzzle lock. I do
not understand why it has a puzzle lock and it is very cheaply made plastic.
I returned the carrier because it is not usable with this lock.
